My wife and I drove from Corona to Santa Monica to look over the three
Mercedes E350s they had at Major Motor Cars. I had spent weeks doing
my research using http://Autotrader.com, http://Cars.com, Kelly Blue Book and http://Edmunds.com
and other websites. They seemed to have some nice vehicles so I began a
series of emails with one of their salesmen, Neil. He was always quick
to respond and answered every question I had for him.
We finally made the trip on a Friday a couple of weeks ago. The next day I made an offer, agreed on a price for both a beautiful 2007 E350 and my BMW as trade-in. Both prices were VERY fair. In fact we bought the car for thousands below Kelly Blue Book retail value. I am not kidding. We were very pleased with the price, as well as the beautiful condition of the car.
Neil was great to work with. He was attentive and helpful, and not pushy in any way. Very laid back. He understood that my plan was to finance the car through my credit union. However, he was able to get me half a percent cheaper with Chase Bank, so we went for that.
When we came to pick up the car it had been detailed; a very nice touch. The only negatives were that they did not have an owner's manual for an '07 so he gave me one for an '06, there was only one key and the DVD was missing for the Nav system. (Neil ordered a DVD and overnighted it to us.) This is common when dealing from cars that have been auctioned, which this one was.
To summarize, we were thrilled with the quality of the car, thrilled with price of the car, pleased with our trade-in, pleased with the auto loan, and very impressed with the treatment we received from Major Motor Cars, especially from their salesman Neil. I grew up in the auto sales industry. My dad worked at car dealerships for years, so I know how people should be treated.
To any skeptics out there, I am not an employee, nor am I a relative or friend of one. Just a very satisfied customer.

I had only leased cars in the past, and this was my first experience buying a used car. I was looking for a higher end car at a good price as a college graduation gift. I tried to find reviews on dealerships and really took my time looking since and I had the time and wanted the car to be perfect, and hoped to know a little about where I was buying a car from- After purchasing a car from Major Motors I want everyone looking for a great car, at a great price, to know this is the place to go.
The experience with Major Motor Cars was beyond any I could have expected- Never has a dealership been so honest, and gone out of their way many times to make sure I was totally satisfied. They let me take the car to both an independant as well as my own Mercedes Dealership to make sure everything checked out perfectly before I purchased the car- They never rushed the sale, and patiently answered all the questions I had. After purchasing a car here I want to tell everyone looking for a gently used top of the line car this is the place to come.
PS Even after the sale is complete they are still there to help in any way you need- They are really pretty amazing, and Neil is the greatest guy to work with. He made car buying for a first timer go exceptionally smooth.
